For Christmas I received two tickets to the Alvin Ailey perform
ance at the Fox Theatre. We were six rows back and a little to the left of the stage, but our seats were wonderful. There were three lesser known dances from choreographers I was unfamiliar with prior to the actual Ailey stuff. My assumption is that they are trying to allow these other choreographers a shot at fame, which would be typical Ailey. All I can say about Revelations is ... Wow!! There's nothing like his choreography to emphasis the strength and beauty of a dancer. It was amazing!!
